Organic Turmeric Curcumin

A flowering plant and part of the ginger family which contains curcumin. Its rhizomes are used as a seasoning in cooking and its health benefits are shown to be anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. Turmeric contains manganese, phosphorus, and potassium. (Kosher)

Organic Ginger Rhizome  (Zingiber Officinale) 

A flowering plant whose rhizomes are used for many medicinal purposes. The active compounds called gingerols, help kill bacteria and is also helpful with breaking up gas and settling a queasy stomach. Ginger is also anti-inflammatory which reduces swelling throughout your body and has also been studied to help regulate the insulin in your blood system and help with your cholesterol levels. Ginger is loaded with antioxidants and this can help fight off chronic disease, high blood pressure, and diseases of the lungs. (Kosher)

Organic Cayenne (Capsicum Annuum)

The spice cayenne who’s ingredient is capsicum is related to many other peppers even though it is not one of the hottest peppers, it still supplies health benefits. Because it increases the amount of heat that your body produces it is known to boost your metabolism and also reduce your hunger. It stimulates the nerves in your stomach which send enzymes to aid in digestion and has been studied to help reduce high blood pressure. Other studies have shown it to be an antioxidant that slows cancer cell growth and is filled with vitamin A, C, E, beta carotene, choline, B vitamins, and lutein. It also carries many nutrients including potassium, magnesium, zinc, copper, and iron.

Honey has many health benefits topically as an antibiotic to help heal wounds but orally it has healing properties that are soothing along with being antibacterial. The bees deposit hydrogen peroxide and honey synthesize the pollen from the flowers and it is naturally acidic which makes it antibacterial. Studies have proven because of its high levels of antioxidants and which fights inflammation it helps with cardiovascular disease and killing of cancer cells.  (Because there is no way of regulating where a bee forages for pollen it can not be honestly labeled as organic or Kosher).

Organic Echinacea Purpurea 

Echinacea also is known as purple coneflower is one of the most popular herbs worldwide that has been used for centuries to treat various elements. It’s best known as an over-the-counter herbal remedy to help your body‘s immune system fight the cold or flu by increasing white blood cells and reduce inflammation. Known to be used to treat pain, inflammation, lower blood sugar levels, and other health issues. Both the upper parts of the plant and the roots are used because it has an impressive variety of active compounds such as phenolic acids, rosmarinic acid, polyacetylenes, caffeic acid, alkamides, polyacetylenes, and many more. Bee Pollen

Pollen contains male reproductive cells of flowers and digestive enzymes from the bees. Pollen is rich in vitamins minerals and trace elements, enzymes, and amino acids and is a great source of antioxidants. People have taken bee pollen for many reasons from reducing inflammation with its flavonoids and phenolic acids to reducing toxins in the liver because it is rich in antioxidants and zinc. It is claimed to lower cholesterol, improve metabolism and increase hormone levels which will improve stamina. The pollen has properties that are antioxidant, disinfecting, antifungal, and antiviral.
